Carpet and floor in room turned our feet black and dirty.

Okey for 1 night advert says heated pool- not true only 12x12 spa and full of sand and not skimed. Carpet and floor in room very dirty -staff was helpfull and you can walk to beach but is about a half mile and not easy with kids, chairs, umberlla ect. This hotel is a find if you are looking for a medium priced hotel in the Beach Cities. You are only a four block walk to the beach and the Hermosa Pier. My room was very clean, the wallpaper and pictures were pleasing, the cable TV worked great, bathroom was clean, coffee was good and the breakfast provided was very nice. Also there is an ocean view from many rooms (my room at the back had a view of Malibu and the ocean) and from the workout area and breakfast room. Very responsive staff. Comfy and friendly, but the huge hot tub is the best part. Location near the beach is good, too.
